I bring in the work.

Chief Marketing Officer for architecture firms. I find the projects that almost called — and build you the fix before we ever talk about money.

What I do

My wife's an architect. I'm her Chief Marketing Officer. I do the same thing for other firms.

Here's what I've watched up close: when someone finds you online, they decide before they ever call. If they can't get a real answer fast, they're gone — and you never find out it happened. Most firms are losing projects this way and don't know it.

How I work

So I do it backwards from everyone else. I go to your site, find the gap, and build you the fix on spec — before we ever talk about money. You see exactly what catches those people and turns them into clients.

It's always free to look at.

If you run a firm and you've ever wondered where the projects that almost called went — that's the conversation I'm good at.

The part nobody counts
The firms that win the next decade won't be the ones with the prettiest portfolios. They already have those. They'll be the ones where the 9 PM visitor gets answered in 9 seconds.

A principal architect emailed me this week to argue with my pitch. His point: a $100,000 project isn't going to live or die by whether his website has a chat option. He's right. That was never the point. The point is what happens at 9 PM when someone lands on his site with a real project. They look at the portfolio. They're impressed. Something small gets in the way. They leave. No call, no email, nothing to count. He didn't lose that one on price or talent. He lost it and never knew it happened.

A lesson I kept
If you're going to lose a hundred-thousand-dollar sale, learn a hundred-thousand-dollar lesson from it. — the top Toshiba rep in the world, who recruited me at 22

The problem with most firms is they lose the sale and learn nothing — not because they're careless, but because they never knew there was a sale to lose. Someone finds them, checks the site, leaves. The expensive part isn't one project. It's that it keeps happening, quietly, and nobody's counting.

The system behind it

The 9-second answer has a name.

Everything I build for a firm runs on one system — missed-call recovery, instant lead response, booking, and follow-up, all handled so no inquiry ever slips through. If you want to see it, that's what the 15 minutes is for.
